Miscellaneous Items for Sale

Over the Shoulder Baby Holder - New - Tan with zoo animal art - click here for the fabric swatch - this sling is sized for a parent from 110-180lbs.  These carriers have lots of padding and are great, especially for a new sling user.  Make sure you are the right size, as they are not comfortable if they are too small or big.  (Note the sling shown in the link is for a young child to carry a doll - this one is for an adult.)  $50.

Over the Shoulder Baby Holder - New - Denim blue with yellow stars and moons - click here for the fabric swatch - this sling is sized for a parent from 110-180 lbs.  See details in listing above.  (Note the sling shown in the link is for a young child to carry a doll - this one is for an adult.)  $50.

Wall Hangers for Mobiles - this ingenius clear plastic contraption is for hanging a mobile above the floor in case you don't use a crib or a playpen (Montessori advises using a floorbed with no enclosing bars from the beginning) or in case hanging it from your ceiling doesn't work for whatever reason.  Click here to see what it looks like on page 2: "The Perfect Mobile Hanger" in the Michael Olaf catalogue.  I loved this, and had several around the house.  I set it up so that my little one could reach it once she could walk and learn how to touch it carefully.  She would stand beside it and gently push it down to watch it move and bounce the mobile.  $5 each (I have 2).

Topponcino Baby Rest with Extra Cover - New - This is an Italian baby rest which provides security for the newborn, ease of laying down if baby falls asleep in your arms, and ease of holding a newborn for siblings or nervous new baby-holders.  Click here and look on the first page "Security Pillow Topponcino" to see a picture and full explanation in the Michael Olaf catalogue.  This will be especially nice in winter to provide an extra layer of warmth.  Regular US$35, $20 Cdn here, including extra cover.
